Personality:

On the surface, Jean seems to be a shallow and self-absorbed man, infamous among many of his colleagues for the selfish and narcissistic aura he gives off. He is wont to act in an ostentatious manner and appears to act mostly out of self-interest rather than any sort of charity, and he comes off to most as a sort of cocky, lazy asshole, shirking most of his duties and delegating his desk job missions to members of his clan while sitting idly with them, sporting an amused smile on his face as he procrastinates, but quick to take action when it appears that there is glory and notoriety to be gained. Jean is expertly manipulative and prone to think several steps ahead of those around him, giving him a remarkable talent for making ninja act exactly as he wishes despite appearing not to have had a hand in their decisions.

Jean also has the reputation of being an incorrigible womanizer, and it's said he spends much of his time cavorting about town with various women, wooing them with his abundant charm, good looks and charisma. This adds another facet to his unpopularity among the enlisted men, many of whom have had their sweethearts and crushes romanced away from them by his hand. He can also be known in this aspect as a bit uncommitted, not really being able to stay on one track or relationship for a longer amount of time, though he can if he truelove tries.

However, while these traits do have a place in his real personality, much of his outward persona can perhaps be considered an intentional façade perfectly designed to cause those unfamiliar with him to underestimate his remarkable intelligence and ability. Jean is an exceptional tactician, well-versed in various strains of combat theory.

At the core, he is a remarkably devoted shinobi whose primary focus and personal duty is to his friends and teammates. Though he hides it well behind a veil of cynicism and self-importance, Jean is a man who cares deeply about the people who trust and support him and goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being, even at the risk of his own. As a man with considerable potential, the Mikaboshi considers himself a protector to those without and acts accordingly, earning the staunch loyalty of his clan members, which is the first step of being the perfect heir.

History:

To speak of his history you would have to start at the beginning. His father was from the infamous Mikaoboshi clan. He was a tall man with amazing fighting skills. His name you might ask, Ryu. Ryu like many of the savages from the Mikaboshi clan would travel the world as mercenary. Having gained a mission to assassinate a certain lord in the land of Glaciers, he would happen upon a gorgeous woman one with eyes like he has never seen before which ironically happened to be the daughter of the man he was suppose to assassinate. Due to his nature as a savage however he went through with the mission and had abducted the man’s daughter. Either due to the trauma of losing her entire family or the fact that she abducted by a group of insane shinobi, Aimee had come to terms with the life that she had now lived and eventually fell in love with the man and had his child.  

At first the group of traveling Mikaboshi had rejoiced in the fact they had gained a new member of their accursed clan but as the years went by they had grown disgusted with the boy.  Growing up Jean had lacked what other Mikaboshi had. He cared little for the pride they often spoke of and instead of indulging in the fast life and had often found his mother’s side of the family more interesting. Before her captivity his mother was a famous musician in the land of glaciers. So naturally she would tell him stories about how she and her family would travel the world performing in front of large audiences and that was what he yearned for. The band of Mikaboshi would eventually settle within Pandora naming Ryu their leader which would make Jean the heir to the Mikaboshi Clan.

Special Ability: An Amatsu is a special weapon in which all Mikaboshi clan members receive the moment they are conceived. It functions as an external chakra storage device which can only be controlled by Mikaboshi clan member and ranks up with them. Their upper limits to storing chakra is equal to the Mikaboshi clan members chakra limit and it can only be destroyed by an equal-rank Physical technique or an above rank and 1-rank above chakra technique however it simply regenerates after the topic is over as the only way it can truly be destroyed is by killing its owner. An Amatsu has the ability to absorb chakra from equal rank and below attacks as well as ambient chakra straight from the body of an opponent upon contact siphoning an equal rank amount. The Bond with an Amatsu and its user is even closer than family as they are inseparable and due to that this unique weapons potential has yet to be fully explored.
