Season Zero RP Empty
PostSubject: Season Zero RP   Season Zero RP EmptyThu Sep 26, 2024 11:39 pm

In Season Zero, the primary focus should be on establishing the Academy as a central hub and gradually expanding into Eden. Once a significant number of students have joined the RP, we can introduce scenes where new arrivals are welcomed at the Academy gates and guided to the dining hall for a principal's speech. During this speech, the principal can formally welcome the new students, advise them of the housing competition  and announce their assigned houses

After they are adequately assigned, they will be shepherded to their dorms where they will meet the head of their houses. Each head has their unique personality naturally and they will be assigned dorm rooms that they will share with other PCs. Once that is finished the heads of the houses will take their class applications, advise them of clubs answer any questions they might have, and then end the topic there and all who participated receive 1,000 exp. This sub-event is called Orientation.  Student councils are chosen at the house meetings for everyone to know who they are

Those chosen to be on the student council will meet up with Sera and be given the job's rundown and access to the council mechanics. The school's board has decided to give those in the student council power to upgrade the house facilities for each house for each house to gain an advantage over the other:

- Greenhouse Upgrade
- Exp bonuses
- Money Bonuses
- personal house library that houses recipes. One for each section.

After this is done do a class where they learn the first skill class skill for the major classes and then start pumping out repeatable missions, quick missions, and club missions, especially for interactive clubs like sports. some smaller events to flesh out the world etc

First True Sub Event: Missing Expedition

Eden has lost contact with a group of researchers sent to what was advised to be a safe area in the hallowed expanse, (desolate mega mall)  but has now lost contact with them. The mission requires a group of students to go to the location and find out what had happened to researchers and retrieve any information or equipment left behind.

Mall images

Key Features:

Upper Levels: Broken storefronts, rotting food courts, collapsed ceilings, faint signs of life.

Sub-levels: Used as makeshift research labs by the missing team, but now strangely untouched and abandoned.

Security Systems: Still partially operational, with malfunctioning drones and automatic defenses that may pose a threat.

Hazards:

Collapsed Floors or Unstable Structures: Portions of the mall might collapse as students explore, making traversal dangerous.

Malfunctioning Security Systems: Old defense drones or automated turrets still operating on faulty power sources might attack on sight.

Unseen Force:

As they delve deeper into the mall, the group begins to notice signs that something has been following them or is observing from the shadows. There may be odd noises, flickering lights, or even glimpses of strange creatures in the periphery of their vision.

Anamoly

The Hallowed Expanse is known for strange magical anomalies. In the lower levels, the students encounter a rift caused by residual energy from The Sundering, warping reality and affecting magic. It might warp time, causing them to see distorted versions of past events or visions of the future.

Enemies

Hallowed Echoes: These could be ghostly remnants of the mall’s past, twisted and aggressive due to the residual energy. They could appear as shadowy figures or entities, attacking the group as they get closer to the core of the mystery.

KEY CLUES

Missing Research Team:
The students find signs of a struggle, hastily abandoned research equipment, and scrawled notes. Most of the team is missing, but they discover one survivor in hiding who provides cryptic information about what happened, though their mind is fractured.

Research Data:
The students recover crucial data indicating that the mall was more than just an ordinary structure. It may have been built atop a slumbering remnant of The Sundering, which is now awakening, causing the strange phenomena and disappearance.

ENDING

The students find the core of the anomaly deep in the mall’s lower levels, a rift from The Sundering. They will need to decide whether to try to destroy, or leave it for the Academy’s higher-ups to deal with. However, interacting with the anomaly could lead to a significant choice, either empowering the students temporarily or potentially exposing them to long-term danger.

Attempting to destroy the rift causes whoever touches it to be immediately drained of all their mana and brings forth demon from Ba'als army, C rank for the remaining party to fight and kill. Ater the battle the rift will close. Basic Demons from the list.

Leaving it results in the academy higher-ups gain the knowledge that someone or something is trying to summon demons into the world.

Eden of world sub quest.
