| - Delve:
With the coming of the Black Fortress, a wave of dark energy has passed over the world. However due to this, certain nexuses of this energy have appeared. It would seem that several factions, even some working together, had created dungeons to hold their greatest treasures and worst nightmares. Some of these occurred naturally within ruins, some of ancient villages, some of caverns that have gathered the darkest of emotions.
Each Land has a set of Delves and each Delve has variable levels. Each level lower you go within a Delve the higher the difficulty but the greater the rewards that are received. These Delves are also where ancient artifacts and Lost Techniques are located. A team is sent in and travels through the Delve until they choose to leave or are killed. The next level of the Delve is only unlocked when the pathway to the next level is located, after that anyone can start at the newly unlocked level. At the moment, only one Delve is known for each Land, eventually clues will be found to open new Delves.

- border defense:
The arrival of the Black Fortress has opened gateways for the darkness to come pouring out to try and destroy the Republic. This means that any and all capable of fighting have been called to the defense of the Republic's Lands in order to hold off the enemies. This could be as simple as recon strikes from hidden remnants of old powers up to massive waves of shambling dead attempting to breach the Land defenses in order to devour the inhabitants.
Border Defense missions work by choosing a Land and a Location. Each Location will have different terrain, leading to different combat scenarios. Then a section of Defense is chosen which determines the difficulty from C to SS. SSS+ are unique defense opportunities. Once chosen the person must then decide whether they will work with a team or take a section solo. If they work with a team then they will gain 3 NPCs of one rank lower than the mission to work alongside, with genin being the lowest and they will gain additional rewards if they can keep the others alive or without serious wounds.
These missions then undergo 'Waves'. The more waves you undergo the more difficult the mission becomes but the greater your rewards, one must always watch their resources however as they are unable to restore anything between waves unless they use techniques or consumables to do so.
